This week I'm adding the second character, Nat the Cat, to the Billy artwork. Nat has just come in from the garden; she will be carrying a trug (great word) of picked flowers to go on their breakfast table. Nat is preparing a beautiful breakfast for her friends and, unable to wait, Billy drinks all the orange juice (see last picture). This is just the first level of painting; once everything is blocked I do all the finishing touches on her fur etc. (Must remember to fill in her pink nose!)
